In the 1970’s Allan was instrumental in designing and creating several stores for Pottery Barn, also creating a custom closet department for the chain – a first in the country!

He has lived in Woodstock for over 20 years, building, renovating and designing homes for himself and for clients as well as working with real estate agents and brokers in his Interior Analysis service.

Allan is also an accomplished artist, beginning in the 1960’s when he participated in the Art Students League in New York. His paintings have been shown in OK Harris and Jackendoff Bocce in SoHo, NY, as well as General Electric Headquarters, Manhattan College and The Woodstock Artists’ Association.
