CHICHESTER, NY HOME   The previous and extremely large uncomfortable master bedroom was greatly improved on by building a freestanding closet and repositioning the bed to face toward the sliding glass doors and the gorgeous views outside. This also created a dressing area and made the room more intimate. Additionally, I created a brand new master bathroom with steam shower where one did not exist. With the remainder of the house, we wanted to stay on budget so we used all the existing furniture and moved it around from room to room, making better use of it. We were able to shop big box retailers like HomeGoods, and purchase great looking large accessory pieces, which helped tie the place together – why spend more if you don’t have to?
